In support of our growth strategy, our Sydney team is seeking the services of a Stakeholder and Community Engagement Consultant to share our journey.
What you will be involved with Variety is the key component of this role. As part of our highly regarded collaborative team, you will be working on a wide range of projects, providing all services relating to stakeholder and community engagement, or communication activities required to deliver successful projects for clients, within scope, budget and agreed timeframes. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communication plans Preparing communication materials and manage project hotlines, emails, websites and project correspondence Coordinating stakeholder engagement events including meetings, workshops, public displays and forums Hands on engagement with stakeholders and communities impacted by the projects, which will include door knocking and letterbox drops Develop and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and government and private stakeholders Manage assigned tasks in terms of budget and on time delivery Contribute to the preparation of bids and other marketing initiatives Actively participate in the company’s quality and HSE programme Prerequisites Interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust based, value added relationships with people across the business Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communication plans International Association of Public Participation 'IAP2' certification (desirable) Willingness to travel and/or be site-based for periods of time as required Ability to write high quality technical reports and excellent verbal skills Good computer skills Drivers licence (including the ability to drive a manual vehicle) Ability to work to time and budget constraints Relevant communications or public relations degree (or equivalent) Why KBR We are a proud professional services company at the forefront of Australian projects.
