Hands on role within a fast growing Australian engineering company Your new company A fast growing, national leader in full service engineering, procurement and construction operations in Australia. Covering commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: Providing timely and accurate month end reports, including: prepayments, journals, accruals, etc.
Management of monthly reconciliations for relevant balance sheets Assist in preparation of interim/annual statutory financial reports Assist in driving system/process change across Development Finance to drive consistency Involvement in Ad hoc projects as required Preparation of financial accounts Managing the Fixed Asset register Review GST, Payroll Tax and FBT return calculations as prepared by Assistant Accountant Managing inter-company recharges and the communication of these costs to the respective business units What you'll need to succeed You will be CA/CPA qualified Have minimum of 5 years financial accounting experience - engineering or services industry experience will be highly regarded Be an Accounting all-rounder with understanding of AP/AR/PO/GL processes Have knowledge of Tax and accounting standards What you'll get in return A hands on role based in Western Sydney where you will be responsible for driving change within a fast growing Australian business.
