Temporary position to start ASAP Clerk Grade 3/4. Salary from $ 68,900pa plus superannuation Role based in Newington to 18 February 2019 Working with Us This opportunity sits within NSW Department of Primary Industries in the Biosecurity and Food Safety (BFS) branch which is responsible for the protection of the NSW economy, environment and community from biosecurity and food safety risks. This area also incorporates the NSW Food Authority.
The NSW Food Authority helps ensure food is safe and correctly labelled. The Authority works with local, state and national governments to provide confidence to consumers that food is safe, and provide certainty to those involved in the food supply chain of the requirements to achieve our objectives. About the Role This role will offer you the opportunity to join a team environment with other professionals in the NSW Food Authority and biosecurity Helplines.
Dealing with a diverse customer group, you will be representing the Biosecurity & Food Safety interface with the public by delivering excellence in customer service via Helplines and digital communications. We need your insight, skill, flexibility and resilience as you prioritise incoming communications, provide basic food safety and biosecurity advice and deal with multiple tasks. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly reputable NSW Government organisation.
