AusHealth is responsible for the provision of a range of medical payment and cost recovery services for public hospitals nationally. Reporting to the AusHealth Team Leader , you will work with the team in all aspects of revenue recovery for accounts receivable services provided to our clients.
The role will interact with a range of external stakeholders including hospital staff, clients/patients and insurance companies. You must enjoy customer contact and data entry. Your well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills and strong administration experience will ensure your success in this role.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for: Face to Face payment negotiations with patients and or families at various hospital locations. Accurate and timely data entry of patient records. Following up the collection of revenue from insurance health organisations and/or individuals who are not insured.
Financial Solution assessments for debtors and negotiation of payments. In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: Well-developed interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation and team work. Proven Customer Service skills and experience.
Efficient and accurate data entry. Knowledge of Debt Collection Guidelines desirable but not essential. Certificate III in Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
