Project Controls Analyst
As Project Controls Analyst of the Program Capability Office you will be responsible for the following key duties: • Provide cost, budget and schedule planning and control analysis, reporting, and monitoring services to support Project and Program Managers. • Provide financial, schedule and reporting preparation and analysis services to meet PCO consolidated reporting requirements. • Administration and reporting of project financial data using SAP and MS Excel.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including Project and Program Managers to produce and improve the timeliness, quality and consistency of reporting produced. • Support the planning and scheduling of multi-disciplined projects and programs using Microsoft © Project, or similar departmental prescribed system, developing consolidated project/program schedules where required. • Develop and recommend planning and procurement options with cost considerations, time advantages and risk profiles.
• Identify project risks and opportunities and provide analytical contribution to project planning and control processes and activities; • Maintain and support the updating of the suite of project templates, standards, tools and policy documents, including the management of the PCO SharePoint site and document control management according to Queensland Government standards; • Support project and program managers in familiarisation with and use of PCO templates, tools and standards; • Conduct research on project management subjects, technologies, practices and procedures as directed to support project management capability development. • Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships that ensure a high level of customer service is provided and supports the achievement of the PCOs service offerings.
