Business/ Practice Manager
Your Employer A large, busy specialist surgical practice in Perth, is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Business/ Practice Manager to oversee, coordinate, manage and undertake important day to day operational functions; as well as grow and guide the direction of the broader business into the future. Located in Murdoch, this private practice provides a comprehensive range of specialist surgical services to Western Australian patients. There are currently 6 Surgeons, who are supported by a multidisciplinary team, as well as administrative staff.
The practice is currently expanding to provide services at 3 additional clinic locations and 2 major Perth metropolitan private hospital sites. The Role The surgical practice offers modern premises with a technology based paperless environment and excellent working conditions. The Business/ Practice Manager will be accountable to the Principals of the practice, to deliver the services of predominantly financial management and human resources.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the business, as well as overseeing the day to day running of the practice, to ensure that patients are provided with service excellence. Selection Criteria You will have previous experience in management and other essential requirements include: Business and financial acumen and previous experience in the development of business operations to optimise efficiency Enthusiasm, high motivation and upmost professionalism Strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully work within a team structure Previous experience managing staff and all associated human resource processes Proficient verbal and written communication Excellent time management, organisational, multi-tasking, problem solving and prioritising skills Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software) A high level of productivity and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines The capacity to facilitate and manage business improvement, growth and change for advancement A genuine empathy for patients and a commitment to supporting the practice to provide superior customer service and a high standard of care Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to commit to other hours as required.
