The position The After Hours Response Team support the needs of children, young people, staff and carers across Marist180’s Residential Care & Homelessness Programs during non-regular business hours. You will be responsible for responding to crisis and emergency requests from staff, service users and carers; rostering and staffing needs, administrative tasks, and maintaining casework and service standards in the houses. You will also manage any challenging behaviours that may arise and participate in the implementation of specific aspects relating to the young person’s goals and case plans, in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic applicant with a background in Residential Care or similar to join the After Hours Response Team. Our ideal candidate will have: Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services or equivalent Current NSW Drivers License NSW Working with Children Check Extensive experience working within a residential setting, in particular with young people who have experienced complex trauma Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts High level of computer literacy and report writing skills The right to live and work in Australia Penalty rates apply for after hours and weekends How to apply This is a role where you truly can make a difference.
