Continuing full-time appointment HEW Level 6/7 Salary $73,671 to $87,258 per annum Plus 17% superannuation plus 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus Apply your extensive Event Management experience to support events managed by the University's Office of Marketing. The Office of Marketing is responsible for the development and management of the University brand, as well as driving student demand. The Office provides professional marketing services and strategic leadership across a range of integrated marketing functions, including campaign management, student recruitment, publications, web services, event management, customer relationship management and brand management.

The team works closely with members of University Executive, The Faculty of Vocational Education & Training, Higher Education Colleges and divisions, to ensure product offerings and marketing activities are evidence based, highly targeted and effectively evaluated. As the Senior Events Officer , you are responsible for the delivery and coordination of logistics for CDU events that are managed by the Office of Marketing, and providing event advice and support to the broader University community. This includes advice for hands-on event management and is the University's primary contact for all events and marketing support.

The role encourages and supports academic events such as conferences, through the provision of advice and marketing materials, and liaises with event management suppliers. Additionally, you will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with content editors across the University, and work closely with the Web Services team to create, enhance and develop various website projects, including administering the brand standards of CDU for all online activities. Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification or Diploma in Events Management with demonstrated experience in Marketing or a related discipline.

Essential to this role is your capacity to work under pressure with competing demands and deadlines, along with your demonstrable organisational and coordination skills. An understanding and knowledge of tertiary institutions will be well-regarded.
