Job Position Due to the increasing number of our equipment , Watson Glass Pty.

Ltd. is seeking a full-time professional Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The potential candidate will take responsibility of fitting and assembling parts as well as subassemblies to fabricate glass processing equipments; using a range of processes, tools and equipment to perform preventive, routine and breakdown maintenance on various glass processing machines.

A great opportunity exists for experienced fitter. Extensive experience and strong operation skills are highly desirable in this role . To be successful, you need to prove that your skill is up to the challenge and time- pressured task .

Possess g ood knowledge of engineering in Mechanical Trade and rich experience in machinery industry . Duties: For successful candidate, t his is a hands-on role and further duties may be need ed as required. F ollowing drawings and layout specifications in order to s elect suitable equipment and material , proper processing method and procedure of operation to set up and operate machine ; A ssisting in a ssembling and installing a range of glass processing machines and other equipment, including glass edging machine s , glass cleani n g machine s and glass polishing machine s , ensuring all parts are put in the right position and interlock tightly and securely ; Utilizing precision measuring equipment to measure parts for accuracy , clearance and fit , including angles, inside, outside and depth measurement ; Setting operating guides and control to indicate an effective and safe operation of workshop machines and tools and create a safe environment for operating machine and equipment at workshop ; Examining faults, dismantling defective components and repairing by cutting, welding, bending or straightening, drilling and f i tting in order to maintain our plant machinery and equipment to operational standards; C hecking production lines, keep ing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubricati on system s efficient and leak free on a daily basis; T roubleshooting problem occurred in computer numeric controlling system caused by a ny failure s ; D eveloping maintenance schedules on a monthly or seasonal basis, detecting machine parts and accessories; A rranging purchase and replacement of spare parts and tools, ensuring an efficient equipment maintenance and performance; Displaying machines and tools at proper places at workshop , using large machine, such as large cranes, if necessary and maintaining a safe working environment .
