Instructional Designer and Online Learning Consultant
The Opportunity Our Federal Government client are seeking a talented and motivated individual, with instructional design and online learning skills, to assist Subject Matter Experts across the organisation in the design and implementation of blended learning products. Development of online learning packages will be a feature of the role. Working as part of a team reporting top the Blended Learning Manager your duties may include: Work closely with other groups within the organisation's training centre and the talent management strategies section to facilitate the design and delivery of learning solutions across a broad spectrum of programs including: Environmental research Corporate services Personal and leadership development Apply sound instructional design principals to develop blended learning solutions then implement these products on the Moodle based learning portals or SharePoint intranet site.
Administrative tasks associated with the organisation's Moodle Learning Portal, undertaking system upgrades, backups, user maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting to support trainers and other SME. Assist the blended learning in the development of policy and strategic initiatives, which will guide future directions in online learning. About You: The ideal candidate will possess the following: Demonstrated ability and experience in each phase of the instructional design, from learning needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
Demonstrated skills in the use of instructional design tools such as Captivate, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Moodle, SharePoint and other eLearning tools. Ability to undertake administrative tasks associated with the Moodle Learning Management System. Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
This includes the ability to engage and build rapport with staff at all levels within a dispersed and diverse organisation.
