5%) (HP5) (temporary position from date of appointment up to 15th May 2019 with the possibility of an extension) (applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy) Job Ad Reference H1804WB274834 The Purpose of the Role: • Provide an advanced level of expertise to deliver, and supervise less experienced occupational therapists to deliver generalist occupational therapy clinical services across acute and out-patient clinical areas at Bundaberg Hospital to: - maximise client function in activities of daily living, - maximise functional recovery - support timely client discharge from the Bundaberg Hospital and - support clients' abilities to stay in their own home. • For the maternity leave relief period of Director, this position (50% of time) will manage the operational delivery of Occupational Therapy Department clinical services in accordance with organisational goals.; and • Professionally lead Occupational Therapy within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service including contributing to the strategic direction of multidisciplinary teams and providing authoritative Occupational Therapy advice.
Temporary full time (76 hours p.f.) position from date of appointment up to 15th May 2019 with the possibility of an extension Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: • Measles • Mumps • Rubella • Varicella (chicken pox) • Pertussis (whooping cough) • Hepatitis B Existing staff that are engaged prior to 1 July 2016 are not subject to this condition of employment unless they apply for a role with VPD requirements that is within a different Queensland Health entity (ie one HHS to another HHS, Department to a HHS, or HHS to Department).
