ABOUT THE ROLE William Adams is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Used Equipment Sales Manager to join the Used Equipment Sales team, based at their head office in Clayton. As a proven leader, you will assist in the management the company's used equipment sales function to enable the company to obtain the highest level of used equipment sales at acceptable margins. Your focus will be on driving the Used Equipment Sales strategy along with critical cross functional collaboration to ensure we drive the greatest value creation for the business.
Key requirements of the role will include: To meet or exceed the company’s targets in relation to used opportunities. Assist in establishment and achievement of the company's used equipment sales plans/budgets. Provide guidance and coaching to General Line Sales Representatives as well as supporting the sales teams with used opportunities, costing and retail pricing.
Oversee the display and condition of equipment at Clayton and branches. Assist in development and implementation of company wide marketing strategies for the sale of used equipment. Establish and maintain sound and continuing business relations with customers, outside used equipment organisations and other personnel necessary.
Management of customer coverage via CRM program, to ensure appropriate customer contact at all levels. Significant customer contact to assist in meeting both sales and customer relationship objectives. This will involve travel on a regular basis, entertainment of customers as appropriate and active participation and membership of customer associations.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, strong communicator with the ability to both inspire and align others with the business strategy.
