Supply Planning Manager
An opportunity for an experienced S&OP professional with exposure to FMCG to develop your career with a leading food manufacturer. The Company My client is a leading food manufacturer with an appetite for acquisition and growth. They have a history of producing high quality premium products and have been investing into the business to ensure a strong future lies ahead.
As a result they require a skilled Supply Planning Manager to join a close knit team to be based out of their Sydney office. The Role Sitting in the planning team your responsibilities will include; Ensure the consistent supply of raw product into production and investigate any supply shortages Continuously review production requirements and schedules to ensure customer service levels are met Work cross-functionally to ensure a detailed production plans are achieved and actively review production schedules for individual SKU's Control all short and long term planning activities and investigate issues with other departments to promote continuous improvement across the planning process Ensure optimal inventory levels at all times with zero stock outs or stock loss Design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports Ensure the demand planning process is timely, accurate and verifiable Co-ordinate and maintain the long term forecast in conjunction with sales and marketing Your Background In order to be successful in this role you will be; Systems competency across ERP and Microsoft suite Ideally tertiary educated to Bachelor level Previous leadership experience within S&OP Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and develop strong processes Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is non negotiable Previous experience in supply chain excellence and CI projects is advantageous A good understanding of best practice planning techniques and the drive to continuously improve process A high level of thoroughness and attention to detail with an analytical approach What's On Offer In return you be given the opportunity to join a team in a pivotal role where you can drive new initiatives and build your planning career.
