The Sales Manager is responsible for recruiting and retaining members and to identify and generate opportunities with clients and members. Description Support the achievement of the strategic plan and account management plan by developing and implementing processes that support the achievement of sales and retention targets.

Prepare an annual plan detailing specific initiatives to grow and retain members, particularly in high value categories Identify and leverage new business opportunities by building and maintaining strategic relationships and partnerships with the local ICT and business community and identifying new market segments. Ensure membership growth targets are achieved through effective sales, marketing and retention strategies. Achieve new members and retention targets by effective sales and account management and sound product knowledge Identify new clients/members/markets and coordinate effort to introduce them to and the benefits it offers to their skills and career Maintain contact with existing members and find innovative ways to add further value to their membership while maintaining appropriate client levels and service standards.

Ensure the long-term retention of members by developing and implementing a structured partner engagement program and communication plan that promotes member's programs and services. Support the ongoing success of the sales and marketing plan through the effective recording and reporting on sales and account management activity and forecasts through Salesforce. Provide superior account management services by performing all functions to set up membership and introduce new members to the programs and services.

Support the overall improvement of services to NSW state members by coordinating efforts with the Sales Managers, other State Sales and Accounts Managers and Branch Managers. Promote the value of membership and design marketing and sales campaigns for nominated clients to maximise their understanding of opportunities Support corporate governance and risk management obligations by adhering to workplace policies and procedures and identifying and reporting on risks including WHS and compliance. Profile Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar sales / account management position with demonstrated results and achievement of targets Ability to gain credibility with ICT Professionals Experience in t.
