Compliance Analyst - Certification Assurance
Gain great understanding of the retail energy environment Excellent exposure to the broader business An opportunity to focus on continuously improving processes and systems to support positive business outcomes The Team The Regulatory Compliance Team manages regulatory compliance throughout EnergyAustralia to facilitate compliance with regulatory obligations, reporting and assurance to key internal and external stakeholders. The Role Reporting to the Compliance Leader (Enterprise), you will plan, facilitate and execute the process governing the certification of obligations across EnergyAustralia in accordance with the agreed certification schedule. You will be responsible for streamlining and embedding the certification process to provide assurance to CLP, our Board, our regulators, our customers and our people that compliance is being managed and EnergyAustralia is compliant with our obligations.
This role will also support key compliance activities in accordance with the Regulatory Compliance Assurance Program (RCAP). And will develop an intimate knowledge of the Regulatory Compliance and Assurance System (RCAS) to support the broader Regulatory Compliance Team with detailed regulatory analysis and root cause analysis of non-compliance. What we are looking for Due to the nature of this opportunity, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, skills and experience: Strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and confidence in using a range of reporting systems Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and appropriate interaction at all levels within the organisation Experience in developing and strong and collaborative relationships Ability to identify and implement process improvements and better ways of working Proven analytical skills, ability to interpret and analyse both simple and complex information from multiple sources Makes clear decisions based on complex and conflicting information Strong attention to detail and sound problem solving skills Degree and/or Tertiary qualification in business or a related field.
Experience with business systems, process design or audit is preferable but not mandatory and experience in business administration tasks and systems is essential.
