Your next Instructional Design role will apply advanced adult learning theories into a practical training programs aimed at executive level participants from within an institution that is globally renown as being on the leader in their field. You will manage the overall curriculum design for the programs. You will partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) within a collaborative team environment, with your primary goal in complete end-to-end project management aimed at delivering a consistent training experience that directly impacts the success and reputation of our client's learning programs.
The goal of all programs designed will be to deliver a world-class learner experience and drive a positive business impact. This is initially a long term contract assignment with a genuine view to extension or permanency. More specifically, this role will see you: Producing high quality instructional materials independently with minimal supervision using your knowledge around adult learning theory and problem-based learning approaches; Story-boarding, program management, needs analysis, material development, and evaluation of a variety of learning modules and coursework; Creating design documents that specify learning objectives, learning strategies, learning materials, design specifications, measures of student learning, and learning impacts (i.
e., business results); Collaborates with executive level subject matter experts (SMEs) to establish content to be included in learning pathway programs; Provides creative ideas to the team and collaboratively works to enhance team member ideas for potential inclusion and improvement of course content; Edits own projects and conducts peer review of co-workers projects, as well as conduct quality checks; Researches on new material to edit and upgrade exisiting content. To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, communications, education, or related field; or equivalent related professional experience; Strong experience in instructional design, development of training for executive or management level professionals; Strong written and verbal communications skills; Experience with producing content for multiple delivery platforms; Self-starter comfortable making decisions in regards to their projects; Proven time and project management skills to deliver quality content on time; Ability to multi-task and work under established deadlines; Ability to interact with senior and executive subject matter experts; Adaptability to a changing work environment and diverse work styles; Assumes ownership of assigned responsibilities, consistently seeks to improve processes; Strong analytical skills, including good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; Flexible, disciplined, reliable, prompt; Goal oriented, motivated learner.
