Senior Associate - Corporate/M&A

This team's client base includes a mix of small companies as well as ASX-listed companies and international corporations. This new opportunity will see you working closely with the partner and their clients on both private and public transactions.
Where appropriate you will lead deals and have high levels of responsibility and autonomy. You will work with clients across a variety of industries such as commodities, mining, financial services, construction, FMG, retail, manufacturing, resources, media, technology, superannuation. Clients will be in both the government and private sectors.
This role will see you working on private M&A, ECM, public M&A, joint ventures, buy backs, listings and private equity. The deals vary in size and you will be also be involved in corporate advisory work and some general commercial work. Our client focuses on exceptional service and finding innovative solutions for their clients.
About You At least 4 years pae in the area of corporate M&A Strong legal technical, drafting and advisory skills Ability to provide accurate, timely and commercial advice Ability to think outside the box and think creatively Client management and interpersonal skills Team focused Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Energy, drive, self-starter Benefits & Culture Our client is well known for paying its lawyers at the top of the market.
