Australian WorkforceStoreperson - Oakleigh VIC Company : Assa Abloy We currently have an opportunity for a Storeperson to join our warehouse team based in Oakleigh. Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will require the successful candidate to perform warehouse related tasks including receiving, picking and packing activities. We take health and safety seriously and there is a range of equipment available to assist in the role, however a reasonable level of fitness is required.
In this active and dynamic role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Pick and pack customer orders Receipt goods inwards and place in appropriate locations including carrying and/or moving goods Perform all work tasks in a safe manner Participate in all warehouse activities where required and as directed Operation of a forklift including loading and/or unloading of vehicles and/or trucks The safe use of warehouse materials handling equipment Accurate and efficient performance of work tasks Participate and suggest operational improvement opportunities Ability to use RF Smart Guns and the use of I.T. hardware and software systems while performing activities About You The ideal candidate will be a results oriented individual with a hands on approach, have strong knowledge of warehouse operations and tasks with an ability to operate with a high level of structure, energy and autonomy.
You will have the ability to work actively with fellow team members to ensure operational goals are achieved. Within this role, you will be encouraged to develop personally and to challenge yourself to progress professionally. If you are a proactive person who takes pride in your work, have excellent attention to detail including the ability for accurate data entry and have an eye for quality then this could be a role for you.
