Northern NSW Local Health DistrictEmployment Type : Temporary Full Time (16 weeks) Position Classification : Health Clinician Lvl 2 Remuneration : $35.93 - $54.78 per hour Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : REQ424959 Clarence Community & Allied Health is seeking a Psychologist / Social Worker to provide a range of community based child and family counselling services in accordance with evidence based practice, and an in-reach response to the acute setting as appropriate for children under 12 years.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework ensuring a focus on health promotion and early identification and intervention. This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period of up to16 hours for 38 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.
If you have/are: Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Social Work with eligibility for membership to Australian Association of Social Workers OR Degree in Psychology and eligibility for full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience and if requesting appointment at level 3 demonstrate experience of extensive specialist knowledge or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within the discipline as defined by the award definitions of a level 3 practitioner. Extensive experience in the provision of clinical services for a complex case load, with demonstrated experience working in domestic violence, low risk suicide and child development for children 0-12 years and substantial knowledge of life span stages. Ability to plan and coordinate client care independently and operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
