The Family Care Centre provides support for families with children 0-3 years who are experiencing early parenting challenges.   The Administration Assistant will be an integral member of the team, being responsible for providing “front of house” welcoming customer service to clients and staff entering the premises and the associated reception, medical record management and administration tasks.

  Selection Criteria: 1) Previous experience and knowledge of reception and administrative procedures including simple switchboard operating skills.  2) High level communication and public relation skills.  3) Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and undertake complex tasks and to organize and manage multiple tasks.

  4) Medium to high level competence in the use of computer programs Word and Excel including data entry.  5) Experience with PowerChart and Scheduler (the patient administration system) or willing to learn.  6) Basic knowledge of Medical Records maintenance procedures including knowledge of disease index or willing to learn.

  7) Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.  8) Demonstrated well developed and effective written skills.   The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian , was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW).
