Senior Business Process Analyst
Department of Customer ServiceSenior Business Process Analyst, Ongoing , locations are flexible across NSW with hybrid working Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Process Analyst within our Strategy and Innovation unit to join our Business Excellence Team within Revenue NSW. We are looking for someone with a passion for continuous improvement and understand the critical role Business Process Management plays in the organisation. You would be a person with an interest and experience in process modelling and process improvement who can support our Business Excellence team.
Some of the key responsibilities include: Identify opportunities to optimise processes applying best practices and solution recommendations (process, people, technology) to improve performance and productivity Experience across Business/Process Improvement within an operational environment. Experience as a Lean Six Sigma/Process Improvement Project Leader with a record of practising and implementing significant changes delivering quantified results is also desirable Analyse existing business processes, using process mining, task mining methods to extract knowledge and insights from event logs and data generated during the execution of various business processes Analysing event logs to understand the actual behaviour of processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, variations, and opportunities for improvement Work in an agile environment with highly engaged and professional team to drive business process excellence initiatives across the organisation, support and lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives and outcomes Play a key role in in embedding continuous improvement within the organisation and support deliver better value to our customers Have the ability to put the customer at the heart of all we do, to resolve challenging business issues To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Understand process mining, task mining methodologies to extract knowledge and insights from event logs and data generated during the execution of various business processes Experience working on large data logs, event logs or log files and exposure to tools or platforms which assists in log management and analysis, facilitating the utilisation of data logs for operational improvement and decision-making Exposure to basic Structured Query Language SQL desirable Identify opportunities to optimise processes applying best practices and solution recommendations (process, people, technology) to improve performance and productivity Experience across Business/Process Improvement within an operational environment. Experience as a Lean Six Sigma/Process Improvement Project Leader with a record of practising and implementing significant changes delivering quantified results is also desirable What we need from you: An up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.
