About Treasury Treasury seeks to achieve value for money outcomes through the provision of expert financial, economic and resource management advice, helping the Government achieve its economic and fiscal objectives and ensuring the efficient delivery of priority public services and infrastructure that benefits all people in Western Australia. We support the Treasurer, the Expenditure Review Committee, and Cabinet by providing solutions-focused policy advice. In doing so, we directly influence decisions impacting Western Australia’s economy, finances, society, and environment.

About the Work Area The Agency Budgeting and Governance business unit works with General Government agencies and Government Trading Enterprises (GTEs) to provide advice to Government on policy, resource allocation, and financial and agency performance.

The unit covers a broad range of portfolios including lands, planning, heritage, land development, utilities, climate, ports, local government, sport, biodiversity, conservation, attractions, emergency services, primary industries and regional development. About the Role This is a permanent vacancy in the Significant Transactions and Tariffs Team, who work directly with the GTEs across a range of portfolios to provide commercially focussed advice to government on transactions an.
