The key duties of the position include The Role The primary responsibility of the 23 Squadron Administrative Assistant is HQ Reception Management and assistance to the Executive Team. The Administrative Assistant will be required to complete an allocation of procedural, clerical and administrative support tasks with minimal supervision. Duties include: Front of office support functions including greeting visitors and responding to phone and email correspondence Respond and arrange appointments and meeting requests to deliver executive support Maintain HQ registers, records and distribution mailing lists Manage HQ room bookings Collect and consolidate data and information and provide assistance in the preparation of written submissions, reports and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders Maintain SQN Website Liaise with stakeholders on routine matters About our Team 23 Squadron is part of Air Force's Combat Support Group.
Located at RAAF Base Amberley, it's function is to enable airbase operations. Key components of 23 SQN include but are not limited to, Air Base Logistics, Air and Ground Movements, Airbase Operations, Personnel Capability, Aerodrome Management and Air Base Security. The Administrative Assistant sits in the Personnel Capability team, made up of Personnel Capability Specialists.
