About the team We are Australia's international trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission. The commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia's anti-dumping legislation.
These investigations seek to deliver a level playing field for industry. Professionalism, excellence and independence underpins the commission's world-class reputation. The Commission is an interconnected team of professionals with skills and experience across various fields, such as regulatory investigation and analysis, accounting, audit, legal, economic and international trade.

Our ideal candidate We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate and committed professionals. We are looking for motivated and skilled professionals who have: skills in auditing, forensic accounting and/or cost accounting an ability to analyse financial data and undertake calculations using advanced MS Excel techniques, including proficiency in pivot tables and look-up functions (e.g.
vlookup, index, match functions) an ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks, apply sound judgement and think critically with professional scepticism, including having a questioning mind an ability to objectively assess evidence and apply facts within a legal and policy framework an eye for detail, able to accurately record and explain your findings in a detailed work program and public facing reports that withstand scrutiny from internal and external stakeholders an ability to form productive and collaborative working relationships and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders high standards of professional and personal integrity in line with the APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct including when representing the Australian Government overseas on verifications. The role requires you to visit exporters in small teams of 2-3, therefore you must be willing and able to undertake international travel (for periods of approximately one week duration), possibly multiple times throughout the year.
