Accounts Receivable Officer
Sharp & CarterOpportunity for an immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer to join a collaborative team environment. The Position An opportunity is available for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a thriving and established company based in the outer northern suburbs of Brisbane. This is a full-time temporary assignment for a minimum three months.
As the successful candidate you will report to the Accounts Supervisor and perform end to end accounts receivable including such duties as invoicing, data entry, reconciliations, end of month, reporting, payment processing and managing general queries. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for working within a high-volume and fast-paced accounts receivable division. You will be an integral member of a high-performing team.
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to: Processing a high volume of customer payments including receipting and allocations; Reconciliation of bank accounts across a multi-site business; Investigating and managing the bank reconciliations reports; Customer account management and maintenance; Building strong and lasting relationships with customer by exercising empathy and understanding; Ad hoc transactional accounts receivable support as required for the function. Skills and Experience: As the suitable candidate you will have demonstrated experience and a keen interest in accounts receivable. You will need to demonstrate that you can work in a collaborative environment and contribute to team success.
In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to: Strong sense of ownership; Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships; Effective and adaptive communication skills; Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
