Senior Environment Advisor

The Project In early planning phase this project will be one of the largest HV Transmission Lines that will be delivered in NSW.

Based in North Sydney initially, the project team will be on a FIFO roster to Wagga Wagga or the closest regional town when in delivery with ongoing work until 2027. About the Role Reporting into the Environmental Manager for the project, the Senior Environment Advisor will be support and monitor the implementation of on project environment programs to ensure adherence with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, contractual obligations. You will also: Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific environmental documents ensuring regulatory compliance and ensuring approvals are in place Coordinate and conduct site inspection, monitoring and audit programs Responding to staff, client, and stakeholder environmental enquiries Coordinate investigation and close out of environmental events Ensure environment compliance with sub-contractors and work activities.

About You You want to be part of something bigger, whatever the challenge you see it as the chance to create value. Ideally you will have: Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in Environmental Management or associated disciplines Relevant experience in similar environmental space, preferably with site experience Excellent communication and consultation skills with strong attention to detail Ability to undertake site inspections and audits to confirm environmental controls in place/impacts are managed. Experience in implementing environmental programs.
