We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Applications Specialist, to work in a passionate, consumer-oriented environment in which innovation and entrepreneurship are important success factors. This position will be based in the Greater Melbourne area and will report to the Regional Aftersales Manager.
The Role: We are seeking a skilled Applications Specialist to join our team and support our dealer network and equipment end users with support and advice on applications for autonomous devices. You will play a vital role in delivering top-notch on-site technical support and contributing to our overall customer experience. Responsibilities: Provide best-in-class pre-sales on-site technical support and setup Assist with the installation and application of our Automower autonomous devices, and other technical products Establish direct contact with our Professional Channel partners and end users to support sales projects related to applications of Automower autonomous devices Regularly visit local dealers, installers, and end users to address technical issues Collaborate closely with the local sales and aftersales teams, particularly during customer events, trade fairs, pre-sales demonstrations and trials Perform repairs both on and offsite Maintain effective communication with the Sales and Service team, providing updates and insights Support the planning and development of sales projects Conduct technical preparations for our Automower and other autonomous devices.
Assist the sales team with application recommendations based on customer need and project requirements. Regularly update the CRM system, including new leads, activities, contacts, and delegate appropriate handling to the sales team as per sales processes. Your Profile: Minimum of 2 years' experience in on-site supporting of sales projects of technical goods.
Significant experience in planning and developing sales projects from a pre-sales perspective. Strong stakeholder management skills. Training experience in technical products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly. High degree of technical/mechanical knowledge and understanding of electronics. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, CRM systems, and the ability to adapt to company systems.
Good time management skills. Proven ability to build and develop strong working relationships. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
