By registering your interest, Treasury will provide you with any program updates and information, and you will be the first to know when the Internship Program is open for applications in early 2024. Eligibility To be eligible for Treasury’s Internship Program, you will need to meet the following requirements: be an Australian citizen currently be enrolled at university in your penultimate year, or final year of studies where you will be pursuing an honours, masters or PhD in Economics have performed well over the course of your studies be able to complete the internship placement in The Treasury offices in either Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne be willing to obtain and maintain a valid Australian Government security clearance on acceptance into the program be willing to undergo any police, character, health or other checks required. Please note: Registering your interest is not an application for the Treasury Internship Program. You will need to submit an application separately in order to be considered for any future positions in Treasury.
