Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a bright and energised Battlespace Lead to join our inspired team. In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by delivering complex, state-of-the-art programs designed to keep Australia safe.

You will lead and manage the Battlespace Surveillance Centre (BSC) at the RAAF Edinburgh base and using your unique leadership skills to foster a strong and safe team culture that delivers truly innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Battlespace Surveillance Centre (BSC) at RAAF Edinburgh and allocated resources to achieve contract on-air performance targets IAW with contracted requirements.

Provide strong and effective leadership. Manage reporting to both Commonwealth and operators, for the BSC in relation to tasks, projects, and operations. Control the scheduling and performance of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities at the BSC.

Actively participate in daily operations when required to meet schedules and to facilitate the resolution of complex problems. Develop and implement training programs to improve the skill level of personnel assigned to the BSC. Supervise and manage all requisition functions to maintain adequate spares, tools and materials for the BSC.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Minimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or construction related industries Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required. Demonstrated competence in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or equivalent project management methodology. Skilled in the use of project management software (Organisational Process Performance, Microsoft Project, etc) and the Microsoft Office suite.

Demonstrated skills in estimating work effort, duration, and value Experience communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, as well as parties external to the organisation (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.
