About the team We're launching two automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) in Melbourne and Sydney.
The new CFCs will redefine the customer experience in online grocery shopping, providing customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range and a seamless digital experience, while also providing a safer working environment for our team members. As our Sydney site ramps up, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Systems Manager to join the Ocado team. About the role This role is integral in managing the provisioning of technical support for systems and team members across the Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) and Spoke sites for the region. You will bring a strong background in Systems Management to ensure that all the pieces on this journey are pulled together to deliver key outcomes.
You will be a standalone resource that supports the project through to the go live of our brand-new CFC and ongoing operations once the site is up and running. You will also: Coordinate and provide assistance as the first point of contact to support team members and facilitating escalations to help desk Resolve issues and support across IT hardware management, systems access, diagnosing technical issues on site Ensure consistency of CFC systems and processes in line with National standards and expectations Work effectively as a leader and/or a team member as required, with the various number of senior and other stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of the key role criteria. About you and your skills We're looking for a passionate Systems Manager that has a customer first focus and continuous improvement mindset.
You'll also need: A successful track record with experience in the management, implementation and troubleshooting of IT software and hardware Planning, strategising and implementing actions that meet specific system requirements Logistical warehouse and labour management system knowledge and experience (ie Manhattan System knowledge etc) Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders within the project and across the business with an ability to influence positive outcomes A strong track record and proven results related to delivery and budget adherence Proven results in maintaining IT hardware at operating levels combined with a working knowledge of ITIL principles and practises, with experience in major incident management Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in large, complex organisations Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
