Social Worker Grade 2 Planned Surgery Recovery Part time (2 days/week) to 30 June 2024 Enjoy the clinical challenges of working in the acute hospital with opportunities to experience varied clinical areas Be part of the supportive and dedicated Social Work team This new role will provide targeted support for consumers as part of the elective surgery service. The Social Worker provides quality care to clients through competent clinical skills, effective communication, and active participation within a multidisciplinary team environment. Social workers aim to provide comprehensive assessment to enable a targeted intervention plan to be developed in consultation with the patient, their family, carers, and significant others.

About you: Strong ability to develop relationships with relevant team members from allied health, nursing, medical, and surgical teams Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and evolving environment whilst providing patient-centred care. Effective time management and organisational skills. You have hospital experience with a collaborative working style.
