Title: System Engineer - Land CLOSPO The Company Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government professional services provider. The Opportunity KBR's Land Team is seeking an experienced System Engineer to support the Land 125 Phase 4 Integrated Soldier System (IIS).

KBR requires a suitably qualified System Engineer to enable and support engineering efforts Land 125 Phase 4 to review and update approx. 350 specifications to ensure compliance to current in-service configuration base-line, assisting with the transition of CLOSPO configuration baselines for all clothing items to the new FCS contractor. The role will be required to provide a wide range of System Engineering capabilities including the provision of detailed systems engineering technical and professional advice.

The System Engineer shall provide engineering management and oversight over requirements for engineering, design management, integration engineering, and verification and validation. Broadly, the Systems Engineer will be required to: - Undertake and oversee the development of Technical Investigations and Technical Instructions relating to platform systems, including the verification and validation of technical data - Conduct engineering processes in CMT-L ( Configuration Management Tool - Land) to ensure the 350 specifications, Safety Case Report and Technical Certification are compliant to Defence standards - Authoring, reviewing, and publishing of Technical Documentation in the form of drawings, illustrations, specifications, Safety Case Reports, manuals, instructions; - Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management relating to Mechanical and Electrical platform systems - Act as a Design Acceptance Representative, participate in Engineering design Reviews and the development of Engineering Support Reports - Undertake an independent, author, review and approve process for sustainment engineering artefacts and support the development of engineering artefacts. - Act as the lead for considerable upgrade projects on behalf of client - Work both within and to the requirements of the Authorised Engineering Organisation - Work to the requirements of Contractor Engineering Management Plan - Assist with preparation and/or review of work instructions and maintenance schedules - Conducting work to a high standard, including work on engineering reports and design contract documents - Working within Certification Standards and established industry practices - Develop and maintain relationships with key customer and supplier contacts - Provide g.
