Systems Engineer - Lethality Program

The Opportunity KBR's Land Domain team is current seeking a junior Systems Engineer to support our Lethality Program Team in Melbourne.
The Lethality Program ensures ADF dismounted combatants, operating as part of a combined arms team, have a range of state of the art lethal and non-lethal systems that will decisively overmatch potential and emerging adversaries. The team is required to acquire and deliver the next generation of munitions and weapon systems to enable the war fighter to conduct their mission effectively. A Systems Engineering role within the Lethality Program will see you develop technical investigations and technical instructions relating to platform systems, including the verification and validation of technical data.
You will also develop design requirements and act as a design acceptance representative, as well as participate in engineering design reviews and the development of engineering support reports. You may also be required to assist in the preparation or review of work instructions and maintenance schedules. Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge - Degree qualified Engineer (with a Mechatronics, Robotics, or Mechanical background or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Systems Engineering Management Plans. - Hands-on experience in configuration management practice. - Working knowledge of ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line).
- Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution. - Familiarity with risk management. This role requires immediate access to ITAR information and an NV1 security clearance.
