WA & Mining Segment Project Manager

Due to organic growth, we are looking for an experienced project manager to support Eaton's projects in Western Australia within our Power Distribution Solutions and Services division (PDSS).

The successful candidate will support the sales team in winning new pipeline for project tenders across business units and manage strategic account projects. Key duties will include; - Manage internal and external resources, schedules and key project deliverables and outcomes - Drive variations, modernization and upgrade revenue during project execution cycle - Work with Bid, Sales and Engineering teams, and review project proposals and plans to determine timeframe, funding, scope, and resources requirements - Manage external project partners and contractors - Establish and manage project plans, milestones and deliverables - Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget including supply chain, warehouse, engineer, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers and field service personnel - Prepare project status reports for management & customer's and project related month end reporting for finance - Deliver high customer satisfaction through all stages of project execution - Identify and assess all risk factors throughout the project lifecycle by utilizing available risk measurement tools and implementing suitable mitigation activities Qualifications: Ideally candidates will come from a mining or mining related industry such as oil and gas, however, we are also open to utilities and or defence. This role would suit a customer centric candidate who thrives in a high impact environment and can hold a team together to deliver a successful project.

Further requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing and delivering projects across High, Medium or Low Voltage - Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with sound knowledge and understanding of ANZ electrical standards (Highly ideal) - Very strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills - Experience in managing a network of partners and contractors. - Advanced MS Office, Microsoft Project and SAP.
