Employment Type : Permanent Part Time Position Classification : Health Mgr Lvl 2 Remuneration : $102640 - $121739 per annum pro-rata Hours Per Week : 32 Requisition ID : REQ419349 In this role you will be ensuring the success of workplace rehabilitation across the Local Health District, including rehabilitation and injury management programs and playing a significant role during all stages of the workplace rehabilitation process. The successful candidate will have: WorkCover accreditation - Return to Work Coordinator Certificate A sound knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in, applying the principles of the Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998, and amendments, WH&S Act 2011, WH&S Regulations 2011 and other associated WH&S legislation. Proven experience in strategic planning, high level advice and implementation of rehabilitation plans in a high risk management framework consistent with business goals and strategic objectives Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of claims management strategies to improve outcomes and health and safety strategies and initiatives, including early intervention and psychological adult and competency based learning programs A comprehensive understanding of Work Health and Safety in a Health Care context and the commitment to identifying strategies to reduce workplace injuries Northern NSW Local Health District embraces the diverse skills and perspectives that our people bring to the workplace.
