Project Manager - Civil Construction (FT)
LLS AustraliaPosition: We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced professional to manage the effective delivery of the Council's civil construction projects. This position will manage contractors, staff and operations of the Council’s civil construction projects, and have the opportunity to assist in contributing to the forward planning programs for Council’s asset, design and development engineering activities. Tertiary qualifications pertaining to civil construction, project management or related industry. Proven extensive professional experience in program and project management, civil works procurement estimating planning, and design construction. Demonstrated professional experience in managing civil construction projects, budgets and people in order to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to brief and manage service providers including consultants, contractors and temporary staff. Proven sound project investigation and design skills associated with civil engineering operations. Proven excellent interpersonal skills, including a high-level ability to negotiate and consult on complex matters and provide technical advice and community information and services through effective written and verbal communication.
