About the role This role is primarily focussed around supporting IT relocation and equipment run up work for Federal Government Departments.
This includes without limitation desktop end user equipment deployments, relocations and decommissions. This is a physical, active, hands-on, energetic role that requires an all-rounder who is self-motivated, eager to learn and willing to be involved with various aspects of the program including interstate travel and high availability during weekday. Prior IT experience desired but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

Key responsibilities - Deployment and relocation of desktops, laptops, monitors and other end user computing devices - Physical handling of all IT related equipment for installation, connection, deployment, relocation and disposal will be required. - Facilitation of secure delivery and disposal of end user computing devices under guidance as required - Follow processes to document, build and configure devices - Perform troubleshooting and resolution of issues both during build process and post deployment under instruction of team lead - Support the decommission and removal of all end user computing devices as required - Provide support to Server Engineers and other technical resources under their guidance How to apply At NEC, we offer an outstanding working environment and the opportunity to be part of a high performance team.
