In this challenging role, you will work closely with the to incorporate technical feedback into the build process to streamline project delivery and ongoing BAU support for the UNIX environment. Key Responsibilities You will have the following key responsibilities: - Define, install and maintain midrange UNIX servers - Monitor systems in line with pre-defined operational controls, processes and requirements - Suggest and/or implement solutions to resolve problems and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction - Supports the coordination of the processing environment and software distribution, upgrades and maintenance - Administer central and/or distributed computer systems - Provide third level technical support for complex problems - Be available for on call roster, cyclic maintenance, DR, high severity issue resolution periodically as part of the defined support model - Implement system changes - Run and distribute defined system management reports - Accountable for junior staff workload and completion of delegated tasks Skills & Experience To be successful in the role, you will be an experienced Unix Technical Support Engineer specifically with exposure to hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
