Here at Mars Wrigley (MW), we are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join the MW Supply team based in beautiful Ballarat. Home to many well-known brands such as M&Ms, MARS, and Maltesers we are proud to make some of Australias most loved confectionery brands. Although the team are based in Ballarat, this role will primarily be based in Melbourne which means there is an awesome degree of flexibility for you; how does working 3 days on site and 2 days from the fantastic Melbourne office or home sound? This role will see you ensure the accuracy of inventory within Mars Wrigley 3rd party distribution centres and between the Mars Wrigley enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems.

You will be happy to work 'behind the scenes' but understanding the importance of your role within the team and buisiness. To be successful in this role you need to have clear communication, the ability to influence and a focus on results. What would be your key responsibilities? - Drive inventory best practice within all Mars Wrigley 3PL distribution centres - Reconcile inventories between SAP and warehouse management systems through IDOC rectification - Ensure cycle count and stock take accuracy within 3PL distribution centres - Manage all scrapping of out of date Inventory - Test and provide feedback on systems What are we looking for? - The ability to switch between competing priorities and tasks and effectively manage expectations - A confident individual who can build strong relationships - Ability to remain level headed when things dont go according to plan - Analytical mindset is essential - FMCG background and experience working with a 3PL / logistics environment would be highly desirable This role would suit someone who is results driven and knows that building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is the key to your success You will possess the ability to influence 3PL customers and ensure business needs are consistently met.
