2 Quality roles based at our Asquith factory, home of Extra, Skittles and Eclipse Lots of room to grow and develop your Quality and Food Safety skills Be part of a close knit team, lots of access to learning and development Due to internal moves, we are currently recruiting for 2 Quality & Food Safety Technicians to join the Mars Wrigley Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) team based in Asquith to ensure all relevant Q&FS standards are implemented and continuously improved to assure quality and food safety at the local site. In these key roles you will develop and implement the Food Safety elements of the Quality Management Process (QMP), be involved in continuous improvement projects of your designated site Q&FS Management systems and use your excellent problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and get to the root cause of these incidents. What would be your key responsibilities? Implementation of the QMP and corporate Q&FS standards at site Compliance and verification of standards through externally verified audits (LRQA) Incident management PRIMP and handle corrective and/or preventative action process Provide recommendations for food safety Issues, especially verification activities for both raw materials and finished goods Approval of site related material risk assessments and the incorporation into the site food safety management plan What are we looking for? Experience in Quality and Food Safety ideally in a food manufacturing environment Experience in auditing Quality Management Systems and a good understanding of root cause analysis Someone who can collaborate and influence stakeholders and High learning agility with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help the team when needed Degree in Food Science/Technology or related science/technical discipline As we have 2 roles, we would be open to one candidate with some demonstrated Quality experience in food production, whilst the other role might suit someone at an Intern or graduate level.
