Our Structures team is seeking a BIM Technician to be based in our Sydney office.

This role is a recognised as an experienced technical person in the application of theory and concepts of digital delivery. You will take advantage of new developments and improvements in technology to implement and coordinate BIM workflows and deliverables for major structural projects. You will adopt workflows and practices to work collaboratively across disciplines, taking responsibility for developing design deliverables to agreed quality, time and budget.

Working under the direction of the Digital Delivery Director/Lead, you will work closely with project managers, design managers, project information managers and discipline BIM leads. LI-AP1 APMETransport ANZTransport ANZStructures APMEStructures Here's What You'll Need: • Experience in the involvement of projects spanning a variety of market sectors, including highways, rail, urban and industrial infrastructure, mining and energy • Knowledge of a range of modelling applications (12D, Civil 3D, Revit etc) and CAD skills, with knowledge of data transfer between key software packages • The ability to assisting project drafters in the set-up of drafting systems at the commencement of new projects • The ability to setup and support for CAD/BIM systems and documentation of project procedures. • The ability to coordinate the setup and implementation of the Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM360) Jacobs.
