We have an opportunity for a Senior Road Designer to join the team on a permanent fulltime basis or on a casual contract. You will be responsible for leading the geometric design production on assigned Jacobs' roads, highways and related civil projects.

This role is client facing and provides support to the engineering team to develop suitable road alignment options and solutions for assigned projects along with managing a team of road designers. You will support the sales team and contribute to their effort to win work by supporting tenders and proposals, in particular developing scope, deliverables and estimation of effort required for the numerous opportunities in the Roads and Highways pipeline. You will review the design output of the road designers within the project team and contribute to design production on projects utilising existing software.

LI-DG1 Here's What You'll Need: • Previous experience in Geometric Road Design and various software such as 12D, MX, OpenRoads and Civil 3D is desirable • Ability to build high functioning teams, coach and mentor the teams Jacobs.
