Jacobs are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join the team in Darwin. In this senior role, your focus will be in the areas of infrastructure design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, delivering outputs and packages for multidisciplinary projects.
You will be working collaboratively with other members of the structural and wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines and construction sectors, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. You will be involved in a range of project delivery models including design only, D&C and alliance based contracts. You will also integrate into the structures team, supporting and taking a lead role in team initiatives and being fully inclusive of team members in other geographies.
Your leadership skills will see you coach and mentor junior staff. ANZTransport APMETransport LI-DG1 Here's What You'll Need: • Qualified Structural Engineer CPEng, RPEQ, and working towards achieving registration as a NT Registered Building Practitioner • Knowledge of BCA, NCC and relevant codes and specifications requirements for infrastructure, industrial, building and bridge structures design as applicable • Ability to represent Jacobs Darwin at Client interface to effectively deliver client projects, foster and win new work from repeat and new clients within the Jacobs Sales framework • Ability and experience in the structures discipline to take a lead role on major projects Proven experience on complex multidisciplinary projects • Effective communication skills and be innovative in problem solvi.
