That's what LifeAtCummins is all about. Flying out from Darwin, Brisbane, Perth or Alice Springs you will provide site support for a mine site based approx. 700km's from Alice Springs.

Operating on an 8/6 roster, you will provide a breakdown and maintenance service for the mining product applications and will be the key contact to develop great relationships with customers on site. Due to the location of the role, you will work independently in a remote location. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Play a vital role in upholding Cummins' strong presence in the region - Develop customer relationships by providing great customer service and quality technical services - Perform breakdown and scheduled maintenance on equipment being used at the site - Utilise our Cummins tools to perform electronic fault finding and diagnosis - Work safely on every task, every day - Write reports and document warranty repairs - Operate on a 1:1 roster - Rotating roster - day and night To be successful in this role you will need the following: - Relevant Heavy diesel trade qualification (mobile plant) - Heavy duty engine experience (ideally Cummins, Atlas/Epiroc or another OEM) - Previous experience in the mining industry is highly desirable - Skills in the use of Electrical Diagnostic equipment - Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely - Proven experience of writing detailed reports - Warranty experience Is highly desirable - Flexibility to extend swing roster if business requires - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - A genuine commitment to workplace safety - A valid driver's licence Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary - commensurate with experience Superannuation.
