The City's Venue Management has an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic and motivated Front of House Duty Manager to work as part of our Operations Team. The Front of House Duty Manager is responsible for the efficient supervision and delivery of customer services for all events and functions at the Sydney Town Hall and associated venues. There are more than 300 events each year, varying from meetings and receptions to major concerts and gala dinners.
In this role you will: provide a high level of customer service ensure the presentation standards at the City's venues are met be responsible for the supervision and leadership of the City of Sydney and contractor staff ensure all set up, operational staffing and safety requirements of events held in the venues are met work a flexible shift work roster To be successful in this role, you will have Front of House experience in a supervisory or leadership position for events, performance or live entertainment, current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification and a first aid certificate (or ability to achieve prior to commencement).
