The facility has 24-hour emergency care, acute and sub-acute/non-acute services including rehabilitation and palliative care, ante-natal and post-natal services, elective surgical services, ambulatory care, renal, outpatient and visiting specialist services and a range of primary and community health services including child and family health and mental health, drug and alcohol services.

Bourke, on the banks of the spectacular Darling River is situated 370 kilometres northwest of Dubbo, is close to the Queensland border and considered to be the gateway to the far west of NSW. The region’s prosperity is built around the pastoral, irrigation, tourism and service industries which are strongly supported by a wide range of attractions and activities.
