About our Team The FA Assets Team is a new internal team that is focused on driving innovation and supporting the design and delivery of technology-based asset investments that turbocharge our services and deepen client relationships. As our Business Analyst, you will work closely with the FA Assets Lead and a wide range of business and technology stakeholders and vendors to design and deliver on a challenging and exciting assets agenda. What will your typical day look like? You will work with creative, dynamic, senior stakeholders, as part of a new team to drive the design and development of FA’s varied asset portfolio.
Supported by the Assets Lead, Service Area Business Partners, and the FA Executive, you will engage stakeholders at all levels of Financial Advisory and work closely with FA’s technology team to facilitate new product design and development. Core functions and immediate responsibilities will include: Leading business analysis activities across multiple assets and innovations alongside product owners, technical delivery resources, and central automation teams to ensure quality delivery of products to an agreed schedule. Specifically, this will include: Working with asset owners to understand and document product roadmaps and asset and innovation objectives Preparation and proactive facilitation of business analysis workshops Elicitation and documentation activities to ensure requirements are articulated at the relevant level of detail for business approval and technical implementation Working closely with Developers, Architects, Business Users, and vendors for current & future state mapping Preparation, facilitation, and documentation of user acceptance testing In-depth understanding of both business services and technology systems and working with both to deliver outcomes Learning new technologies and platforms with an ability to think critically about their potential to solve business problems Developing effective working relationships with project team members, senior stakeholders in the business, technical resources, other business units, and external parties such as vendors where required Managing stakeholder expectations related to business analysis activities Identifying relevant stakeholders, with an ability to plan and execute agreed project approaches to achieve the required outcomes Applying critical reasoning to define and manage requirements, review, refine, and present solutions, issues, and risks, and implement corrective action with stakeholders in a collaborative manner Leveraging waterfall and agile delivery experience to infl....
