RETAINED SEARCH About the client Our client is a major supplier of elements, thermostats, combustion equipment refrigeration and HVAC equipment for the oil and gas, electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning industries. As a family-owned company first established in 1969, the business has expanded to include offices in Perth, Melbourne and Auckland (New Zealand). They are seeking an Accounts Officer , for their Belmont location, who is conscientious and able to utilise an autonomous approach.

About the role Reporting to the Accounts and Administration Manager, your aim is to complete all data entry into Sage Evolution, for the New Zealand office and overseas suppliers, before weekly deadlines. You will build a strong rapport with their clients and suppliers which will assist you in managing overdue accounts and debt collection. Your knowledge of foreign currencies will further assist you to process supplier, freight, and tax invoices.

Some other tasks you will be responsible for are: Managing accounts payable and receivable functions Managing creditor and debtor accounts Performing statement and credit card reconciliations Maintaining petty cash Office inventory management Ad-hoc administration duties as required Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. About you The successful candidate will be proficient in EXCEL and have excellent organisation and time management skills. A Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent is advantageous.
