PMO/Project Coordinator/ Junior Business Analyst

You will join one of our specialised project delivery teams, which has been tasked with building a new function within Group Treasury to strengthen capability and manage risk with respect to our usage of user developed analytics and automation tools. This role will allow you to develop skills toward career paths in both Business Analysis and Project Management, taking responsibility in working across business groups to create key project artifacts, as well as facilitating the delivery of the entire project In Group Treasury, you will work in the financial centre of Macquarie, driving real change for our businesses.

What impact will you have? Working as a part of a dedicated project team, you will provide support to the team and your responsibilities will include: Business Analyst: In your capacity as Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the workstream to design and document the Target Operating Model for a new support function within Group Treasury. You will be gathering information, data, analysing and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders. Acting as a primary point of contact, you will build enduring relationships with key business stakeholders.

Project Analyst: You will be responsible for booking meetings, preparing presentation material, taking minutes, and tracking actions for regular project meetings, steering committee meetings, lessons learnt and other central team meetings. You will be responsible to maintain project folder structure on SharePoint and ensure effective document controls. As project analyst, you will regularly update project status, risk/issues log, track project milestones, resourcing, financials etc.

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience demonstratable project experience in financial services sector possess facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with finance and/or technical professionals have a desire to solve problems whilst demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and curiosity to investigate deeper when required have a compliance mindset and the drive to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard a self starter that can develop and drive a plan to achieve outcomes Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at various levels If you're a driven individual.
