We are looking for a candidate who is organised and focused About The Opportunity Bankstown Hospital is recruiting for a Supply Service Officer to complement and enhance the current Peri-operative Services. What you'll be doing The Supply Service Officer (SSO) is responsible for ensuring that appropriate goods and/or equipment are ordered, maintained, stored and delivered in accordance with applicable WHS & NSW Purchasing and Supply Standards or acts to meet the needs of the department. The SSO is also responsible for the organization of blanket orders and financial management of stores ordering through the H-Trak & Oracle Financials system. The SSO plays a vital role in ensuring that stock is adequately ordered, rotated, accounted and monitored across all areas of Peri-operative Services.

Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate with different levels of staff. Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated skills in coordinating a busy supply (or similar) service. Excellent communication skills including the ability to generate and present oral and written reports.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. High level of computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills with a knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge of H-Trak, ORACLE (iProcurement) and/or other stock management systems.
Experience in supply logistics and Peri-Operative services or other relevant service stock management.
